Jawaher bint Hamad bin Suhaim Al-Thani is a member of the Qatari royal family. She is the daughter of Sheikh Hamad bin Suhaim Al-Thani, a former Minister of Energy and Industry in Qatar. Jawaher is also the sister of Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani, who is the chairperson of the Qatar Museums Authority.
Jawaher holds a Bachelor's degree in International Business Management from Sheffield Hallam University in the United Kingdom. She is also a certified investment professional.
Jawaher is actively involved in various charitable and philanthropic initiatives in Qatar and around the world. She is the founder and chairperson of the Al Jazeera Children's Channel (now called the Baraem TV), which is a children's educational channel based in Qatar. She is also a board member of Qatar Foundation International, which promotes education and cultural exchanges globally.
In addition, Jawaher is a strong advocate for women's rights and empowerment. She has been actively involved in programs aimed at promoting women's education and entrepreneurship in Qatar.
Jawaher is married to Sheikh Fahad bin Khalid Al-Thani, who is a member of the Qatari royal family and a prominent businessman. They have two children together.
